Player refers to an individual who participates in the Inferris Minecraft server. Each player has associated data that includes their ranks, Lumina, current chat channel, vanished status, and detailed profile information.

Player Data[edit | edit source]

The server manages extensive player data to enhance the gameplay experience and ensure smooth operation. This data is categorized into several key areas:

Ranks[edit | edit source]

Ranks are available to players who are either project supporters or volunteer staff. These ranks are organized into group types, with each group offering different permissions and features. Donor ranks typically provide additional in-game privileges.

Lumina[edit | edit source]

Lumina is the in-game currency that players accumulate through various activities. It serves as a measure of a player's engagement and can be used for in-game purchases, upgrades, or other benefits.

Chat channel[edit | edit source]

Staff can join different chat channels based on their preferences or the needs.

Vanished status[edit | edit source]

The vanish feature allows moderators or administrators to become invisible to others.

Player profile[edit | edit source]

Each player has a detailed profile that includes the following information:

  • Join Date: The date when the player first joined the Inferris server.
  • Bio: A short description or biography that the player can customize.
  • Pronouns: The pronouns the player prefers to use, supporting an inclusive and respectful community.
  • XenForo ID: The player's unique identifier linked to their forum account.
  • Discord Linked: Indicates whether the player's Discord account is linked to their Minecraft account, allowing for integrated communication and notifications.
  • Flagged Status (POI): Some players may be flagged as a Person of Interest (POI), highlighting them for special attention by moderators or administrators.

Player preferences[edit | edit source]

Players can customize their preferences to their liking in the lobby, allowing a flexibility of what the player wants or doesn't want to see. It is a new system, and lots of more options will be added in the future.

It includes:

  • Whether or not the player should receive a friendly message upon joining
